Thursday's Thanksgiving Day mettlesome was initially a disaster. And that strength be an understatement. The Redskins, led by the stellar endeavor of back parliamentarian Griffin III, went up 28-3 after the prototypal half. Somehow, miraculously, the Cowboys actually got within a touchdown.
But in exemplary metropolis fashion, the comeback was useless and likewise late. With the Giants hunting adynamic at the crowning of the NFC East (and they hit a Brobdingnagian mettlesome against the Green Bay Packers Sunday), the Redskins and Cowboys are equal at 5-6.
The Cowboys are technically aware in the NFC East, but they are on chronicle support. And if they hit some wish of achieving a playoff spot, they hit lowercase shack for error. Listless prototypal halves like they’ve shown the terminal digit games are unacceptable. So are the penalties.
Can they do it? If they do hit some effort of making an effect in the NFC East, it’ll be because of these players.
